Bankruptcy Boom Continuing?

The bankruptcy boom seems to be surging unabated by very modest improvement among some economic indicators.

Although not citing specific numbers of bankruptcy filings, one recent survey of lawyers by the Robert Half Legal poll showed 32%  or approximately 1 in 3 lawyers believe bankruptcy/foreclosure to be the area of most growth in the next three months.

I have helped shepherd many clients through the bankruptcy process and I do get an enormous amount of satisfaction in helping those in such a desperate need, but I nonetheless find this assessment amongst my colleagues disheartening.  I will however continue the work of a bankruptcy attorney and help as many people as I am able to address their financial condition.

I intend to remain steadfast in my advocacy for any bankruptcy client that crosses my path or walks through my doors, but we must all have faith that things will get better.

I know at least that I can make things better for one client at a time.
