2010 Updated Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Petition Example
The example of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition which I previously posted has been updated as of April 2010 and can be found below. This filled out example has replaced the sample chapter 7 bankruptcy petition I lecture from at my self-help desk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Woodland Hills.

Your vehicle cannot be repossessed during bankruptcy, but can be repossessed two months after either the close of the case or two months after the creditors meeting if surrender is selected on the statement of intent.
