William J. Lasarow Award Ceremony Pictures
As I noted on my bankruptcy blog post, Ilyse Klavir to be Awarded 2010 William J. Lasarow Award, I was recognized on January 26, 2010 for my “outstanding pro bono service” on behalf of debtors filing for bankruptcy. I finally got pictures of the award ceremony and reception I thought it would be fun to share.
Here is Judge Maureen Tighe at the Public Counsel Law Center lectern introducing me.
You might not be able to tell, but I do get a bit embarrassed whenever someone sings my praises.
At the reception, I was pictured from left to right with fellow award recipient James King, again Judge Tighe, and the fantastic gang from the Public Counsel’s Debtor Assistance Project.
It’s too bad, Angelica has here eyes closed, but she still has that lovely smile!
Finally, there was even an article about the award in the United States Bankruptcy Court Central District of California Court News March-April 2010.
